Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Manager of Facilities Infrastructure to lead a multi-disciplinary team at Starbase, TX. You will own maintenance, safety, and reliability initiatives, coordinate contractors, and drive efficiency improvements.

Role requires extensive hands-on experience in facility systems and strong communication across leadership. Onsite work, occasional travel, and extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 3+ years of experience in construction, facility maintenance, or HVAC systems.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a diverse team of technicians ensuring zero unplanned interruptions.
• Manage scheduling, forecasting, and safety/ reliability controls.
• Plan and execute projects with site leadership based on operational needs.
• Review work instructions to improve processes and outcomes.
• Assess resource needs including support projects and lifecycle costs.
• Oversee on-site contractors for mechanical, HVAC, electrical, and water systems.
• Manage preventive maintenance across sites and set priorities for major repairs.
• Track KPIs such as safety, quality, labor, and expenses for leadership.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support for facility-related issues.
