Job summary

SpaceX seeks a Facilities Infrastructure Manager to maintain and optimize mechanical systems across multiple Starbase sites in Texas. You will lead a diverse team, schedule, resource, and execute projects, while driving safety and cost efficiency.

The role requires hands-on experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, building controls, and lifecycle maintenance. Onsite work, travel to sites, and extended hours are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in construction, facility maintenance, or HVAC systems and controls.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• Knowledge of building management, automated facilities monitoring systems and processes including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, telecommunications, fire suppression, generators.

Responsibilities

• Lead a diverse team of technicians to ensure zero unplanned interruption in services.
• Plan, resource, and execute projects based on site needs to improve efficiency.
• Oversee contractors and ensure vendors meet corporate standards and deliver services.
• Manage overall preventative maintenance across site locations and prioritize large repairs or replacements.
• Track KPIs such as safety, quality, labor trends and operating expenses; report to leadership.
• Provide on-call 24/7 support for facility-related troubleshooting or emergencies.
