Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to lead a multi-site operations team responsible for maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, and site upgrades at a remote frontier. The role requires managing third-party vendors and implementing preventive maintenance across housing, dining, and recreation facilities.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in facilities management, 1+ year in team leadership, and a relevant bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in facilities management.
• 1+ years of experience leading a team or project.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, facilities management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing team handling facilities operations including maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, janitorial, landscaping, waste management, and site improvements.
• Manage third-party vendors to enforce standards, optimize contracts, and drive cost savings.
• Develop and execute strategic site improvement projects aligned with business goals.
• Oversee maintenance, repairs, and installations across housing, employee lodging, food & beverage venues, recreation facilities, and private school.
• Design and implement a proactive preventive maintenance program for launch and support facilities.
• Monitor construction projects to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with zero impact to operations.
• Coach and develop maintenance technicians and trades professionals to peak performance.
• Prioritize tasks dynamically in a fast-paced environment and drive continuous improvement.
