Job summary

Fort Worth ISD seeks a Head Custodian II to supervise and coordinate custodial operations across campus facilities. The role emphasizes cleaning, safety, and building maintenance with a focus on efficiency and adherence to district guidelines.

Responsible for scheduling, staff training, and evaluating custodial personnel, with flexibility to work evening shifts as needed. Reports to Supervisor II - Custodial Services and maintains safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Accredited high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of full-time janitorial/custodial/building maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise, train, and evaluate custodial staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, plans, coordinates, and participates in cleaning, grounds maintenance and building operations.
• Maintains cleaning schedules for floors, restrooms, classrooms, gymnasiums and facilities.
• Maintains inventory of supplies and equipment; prepares work orders as needed.
• Ensures safety and compliance with district and safety procedures.
