Job summary

Midwest Health Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee repairs, maintenance, and grounds of the community.

The role reports to the Executive Director and requires managing a maintenance team, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and coordinating with leadership on budgets and priorities. The successful candidate will maintain facilities, respond to emergencies, and ensure utilities and systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) are in good working order.

Qualifications

• Must have basic computer skills to manage records and reports.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English.
• Experience in supervising maintenance staff is preferred or demonstrated leadership ability.
• Ability to respond to emergencies and coordinate safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the building, equipment, and grounds of the community.
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Supervise maintenance staff; assist with hiring and budgeting.
• Comply with safety, personnel, and corporate policies and procedures.
• Ensure fire drills and safety equipment inspections are conducted.
