Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic computer literacy for maintenance records and scheduling.
• Fluent reading/writing/speaking English for communication with staff and residents.
• Regular attendance and punctuality are essential for shift coverage.

Responsibilities

• Comply with the Community’s personnel, safety, and corporate policies and procedures.
• Report abuse/neglect to the Executive Director, RCC or Unit Manager with professionalism.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and family information.
• Report to work on time and as scheduled.
• Maintain building and grounds; perform painting, tile repair, furniture fixes, locks, and trim work.
• Ensure electrical systems and appliances are in proper working order; inspect plumbing for leaks.
• Organize fire drills and ensure fire safety equipment is inspected regularly.
• Maintain community equipment (washers, boilers, HVAC, lawn equipment).
• Provide 24-hour maintenance availability for emergencies.
• Supervise maintenance staff; manage budgets and inform property manager before overspending.
