Job summary

Edward Rose & Sons is seeking a Building Superintendent for the Bloomfield Hills headquarters. You will oversee the overall operation, cleanliness, and upkeep of the building and grounds, coordinating contractors and supervising various maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities include inspections, inventory control, and scheduling vendor services while ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to company standards. The role requires prior custodial experience and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Custodial experience required.
• Experience working with painting supplies is required.
• Knowledge of drywall tools is required.
• Must be organized, detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to all building service requests and schedule repairs as necessary.
• Report and respond to building emergencies and alarm calls.
• Supervise contracted cleaning company to ensure contract compliance.
• Move office furniture, set up equipment, and hang wall furnishings.
• Vacuum, shampoo and spot clean carpet as necessary.
• Use power equipment including power washers and carpet cleaning machines.
