Job summary

Radford University seeks an experienced Manager of Facilities Planning & Strategic Initiatives to support the AVP by driving FM planning, scheduling, and cross-functional projects. You will translate complex facilities information into decision-ready materials for university leadership and external partners.

The role coordinates planning across Design & Construction, Operations & Maintenance, Sustainability, Real Estate, and Capital Finance, delivering timely updates and executive-level

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent education/experience to a Master’s.
• 5+ years of progressive project/program management experience.
• PMP, PgMP or equivalent certification; LEED/WELL credentials a plus.
• Experience with facilities systems and capital planning tools.
• Familiarity with state capital processes and public procurement.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule all FM projects.
• Coordinate meetings and agendas for the AVP and leadership teams.
• Review and synthesize information for decision-making.
• Draft correspondence, reports, and presentations.
• Track progress on strategic initiatives and communicate updates.
• Communicate routine updates on behalf of the AVP.
• Approve minor scheduling and logistical decisions for meetings and events.
• Authorize standard communications and documentation within guidelines.
