Job summary

Commercial Metals Company is seeking a maintenance-focused professional to support the repair and upkeep of equipment across our facilities. You will engage in hands-on work using a range of hand and power tools, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include keeping work areas clean, following safety programs, and aiding in maintenance projects as needed. A high school diploma and experience with mechanics, hydraulics, and various systems are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience with a wide variety of tools related to mechanics/hydraulics.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, engines, mobile equipment, and vehicles.
• Proficient skills using hand tools, power tools and precision tools.

• Maintains work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows safety regulations.
• Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and upholds the CMC Safety Culture.
• Conserves maintenance resources by efficiently using equipment and supplies to accomplish job results.
• Possess proficient skills utilizing hand tools, power tools and precision tools for performing all facets of the repair and maintenance process.

• Experience with basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, engines, mobile equipment, and vehicles (number of years up to location preference)
• Possess proficient skills utilizing hand tools, power tools and precision tools for performing all facets of the repair and maintenance process

Your Education

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
