Job summary

CMC is seeking a maintenance technician in Spartanburg, SC to perform repairs and routine maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment. You will work in a dynamic environment, using hand and power tools, and contribute to keeping facilities and machinery in optimal condition.

The role requires the ability to lift 50 lbs, work in varying weather, and follow safety procedures while collaborating with the maintenance team. Prior experience with hydraulics/pneumatics is a plus.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work in all weather conditions.
• Experience with a wide variety of mechanical/hydraulic tools.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, engines, mobile equipment, and vehicles.
• Proficient with hand, power and precision tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance as assigned by supervisor.
• Maintain clean, orderly work area and follow safety regulations.
• Participate in CMC Safety Programs and uphold safety culture.
• Conserve maintenance resources by efficient use of equipment and supplies.

Your Education

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
