About the Position

The Facilities Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining various projects in relation to the repair and maintenance of equipment and facilities in and around the various Greater Nevada locations and assists with the daily operations of the purchasing and mailroom sections.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Work independently to organize and prioritize tasks, manage time to meet deadlines, analyze requests, understand issues, and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Identify, analyze, and solve problems.
  • Practice a high level of attention to detail when performing job functions.
  • Maintain up-to-date information related to procedures and reporting guidelines.
Qualifications
  • 1 year of maintenance experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Knowledge and fundamentals of mechanical, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, painting, and plumbing.
  • Certified OSHA 10 preferred.
  • Scissor lift, boom lift and forklift certification preferred.

Physical Demands
  • Regularly sit and use keyboard, multiple monitors, mouse, and telephone; repetitive motions with hands, fingers, arms for extended periods.
  • Frequently stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, and kneel.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
Location and Travel Requirements
  • Position can be located in Reno or Carson City.
  • Reno Operations Center: 9790 Gateway Drive, Reno, NV 89521.
  • Eagle Station: 451 Eagle Station Lane, Carson City, NV 89701.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Pay range: $20.19 - 28.13 per hour, dependent on experience.
  • Medical, dental, and vision plans (90% employee cost, 75% dependent cost).
