Job summary

Uline is expanding its Connecticut operations and seeks a Facilities Specialist to keep the NEW Plainfield warehouse in prime condition. This on-site role covers maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, doors, locks, and fire protection systems, with a focus on timely project completion.

Requirements include a high school diploma and 3+ years in related maintenance, plus the ability to lift up to 70 lbs and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, large-scale HVAC systems or carpentry.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and completing projects in a timely manner.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 70 lbs.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and work on minor building, painting and alteration projects.
• Maintain electrical lighting, large-scale HVAC and generator systems.
• Adjust, maintain and repair exterior and interior doors and locks.
• Inspect and test fire protection systems.
• Maintain plumbing fixtures and repair restroom facilities.
• Install and reconfigure office workstations and repair furniture and woodwork.
