Job summary

Uline is opening a new warehouse in Plainfield, CT, and is seeking a Facilities Specialist to help keep the NEW building in pristine condition. Pay starts from $29 to $36 per hour with a $5,000 new-hire bonus and comprehensive benefits.

The role focuses on routine maintenance, electrical/HVAC systems, doors/locks, fire safety, plumbing, and workspace setup. Must have a high school diploma, 3+ years of related maintenance experience, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, large-scale HVAC systems or carpentry.
• Able to troubleshoot and complete projects in a timely manner.
• Able to lift and move up to 70 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and minor building, painting and alteration projects.
• Maintain electrical lighting, large-scale HVAC and generator systems.
• Adjust, maintain and repair exterior and interior doors and locks.
• Inspect and test fire protection systems.
• Maintain plumbing fixtures and repair restroom facilities.
• Install and reconfigure office workstations and repair furniture and woodwork.
