Job summary

Uline, Plainfield, CT, is seeking a Control Mechanic to keep our warehouse equipment running smoothly. You will maintain and monitor automated conveyors and systems, perform preventative maintenance and repairs on forklifts, and collaborate with Engineering and Facilities teams.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years of maintenance experience, and willingness to travel 2–3 times per year to other North American branches.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school preferred.
• 2+ years of warehouse maintenance-related experience.
• Electrical and mechanical skills with experience in PC and / or PLC control packages.
• Willingness to travel 2 - 3 times per year to support projects at Uline branches across North America.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor warehouse automated conveyors and systems.
• Complete preventative maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment including forklifts.
• Work closely with Engineering, Warehouse Administration, Facilities and Operational teams to ensure equipment runs effectively.
• Assist with parts management, inspections, repairs and remote troubleshooting.
• Apply hands‑on expertise across a range of material handling systems.
