Job summary

Uline, a family-owned company and North America's leading distributor of shipping, industrial, and packaging materials, is opening a new warehouse in Plainfield, CT. We are seeking a Facilities Specialist to maintain and improve our new building.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, doors, locks, fire protection, and configuring office workstations. Requires high school diploma and 3+ years in maintenance; eligible for benefits and bonus programs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, large-scale HVAC systems or carpentry.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and completing projects in a timely manner.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 70 lbs.

• Adjust, maintain and repair exterior and interior doors and locks.
• Inspect and test fire protection systems.

• Install and reconfigure office workstations and repair furniture and woodwork.
