Job summary

Uline is opening a new Connecticut warehouse and is seeking a Facilities Specialist to help keep the Plainfield facility in top condition. The role involves hands-on maintenance of building systems, doors, lighting, and office setups, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Earn $29 to $36 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to grow within a stable, established company. This on-site position supports a fast-paced distribution environment in Plainfield, CT.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, large-scale HVAC systems or carpentry.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and completing projects in a timely manner.
• Ability to lift and / or move up to 70 lbs.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and work on minor building, painting and alteration projects.
• Maintain electrical lighting, large-scale HVAC and generator systems.
• Adjust, maintain and repair exterior and interior doors and locks.
• Inspect and test fire protection systems.
• Maintain plumbing fixtures and repair restroom facilities.
• Install and reconfigure office workstations and repair furniture and woodwork.
