Job summary

Uline is opening a new Connecticut warehouse and seeks a Facilities Specialist to ensure the building is safe, functional, and well‑maintained. The role focuses on routine maintenance, electrical/HVAC systems, and repairs to doors, plumbing, and office setups.

The role is on-site in Plainfield, CT, with a competitive hourly wage and a $5,000 new-hire bonus. Applicants should have a high school diploma and at least 3 years of maintenance experience, with strong troubleshooting abilities and the

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, large-scale HVAC systems or carpentry.
• Strong troubleshooting and project completion skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and work on minor building, painting and alteration projects.
• Maintain electrical lighting, large-scale HVAC and generator systems.
• Adjust, maintain and repair exterior and interior doors and locks.
• Inspect and test fire protection systems.
• Maintain plumbing fixtures and repair restroom facilities.
• Install and reconfigure office workstations and repair furniture and woodwork.

Position Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and work on minor building, painting and alteration projects.
• Maintain electrical lighting, large-scale HVAC and generator systems.
• Adjust, maintain and repair exterior and interior doors and locks.
• Inspect and test fire protection systems.
• Maintain plumbing fixtures and repair restroom facilities.
• Install and reconfigure office workstations and repair furniture and woodwork.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, large-scale HVAC systems or carpentry.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and completing projects in a timely manner.
• Ability to lift and / or move up to 70 lbs.
• Valid driver's license.
