Job summary

Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in Washington, DC seeks a Space Management Specialist to lead strategic planning, design oversight, and financial stewardship of FBI facilities and construction initiatives. You will drive complex space projects from concept to completion, coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring workspaces support mission readiness and efficiency.

The role requires expertise in space allocation, relocation and lease management, and collaboration with HQ and field offices

Qualifications

Specialized experience evaluating design/construction documents.
Experience with construction/facility project management for commercial real property facilities.
Ability to coordinate service programs (IT, furniture, cabling, data, security).
Experience making decisions affecting project costs and schedules.
On-site surveys and coordination with HQ and regional offices.

Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate space management projects with varying complexity, including relocations and renovations.
Ensure space allocation standards for field offices and offsites are met.
Liaise with FBI HQ, GSA, and other agencies on space matters.
Conduct on-site surveys and provide input on space requirements and funding.
Guide lower-level specialists on relocation and space projects.
