Job summary

Hensel Phelps in Tyson's Corner, VA seeks a Facility Solutions Associate I to support facility management, commissioning, and asset tracking. You will review drawings, develop MELs, create PFCs, and manage O&M manuals, training plans, and asset QR tagging.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor's in a technical field and have 4+ years in construction or facilities work, with strong communication and MS Office skills. CDL preferred but not required, with ability to work under supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field including engineering, construction, or facilities management.
• 4+ years of experience with construction projects, MEPF coordination, commissioning, or facility operations.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to read project design documents.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project; ASHRAE awareness.
• Able to perform tasks with limited oversight.

Responsibilities

• Participate in pre-design and planning of the commissioning process.
• Develop and maintain the Master Equipment List (MEL).
• Maintain commissioning schedules and asset tagging processes.
• Coordinate training agendas and video materials.
• Inspect operational readiness and assist with closeout requirements.
• Support CMMS workflow and data reporting.
