Job summary

Mark-Taylor in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Manager of Facilities and Service to lead a team of service technicians and housekeeping while maintaining exceptional community standards.

You will oversee hands-on maintenance, coordinate make-readies, inspect systems, and ensure safety compliance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, and carpentry. This role requires strong leadership and relevant certifications, with on-call responsibilities and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as Maintenance Manager, Supervisor, or similar.
• Strong project management skills are required.
• Lease-up experience preferred.
• Certifications: EPA, HVAC, CPO, OSHA or equivalent.
• 3+ years as Maintenance Technician or related roles.
• Strong communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team of Service Technicians, Facilities Technicians, and Housekeepers.
• Oversee hands-on maintenance to preserve community value.
• Perform inspections and repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, and more.
• Manage Make-Ready/Turn Board and daily apartment inventory.
• Schedule contractors and vendors as needed.
• Inspect for safety hazards and correct them.
• Share on-call duties and respond after hours in uniform.
• Complete Weekly Service Reports timely.
• Adhere to safety protocols and participate in training.
