Job summary

Advanced Recovery Systems, LLC is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to sustain a mission-critical healthcare campus dedicated to firefighter and EMS recovery. You will lead daily operations, safety programs, and long-range planning to keep all facilities compliant and fully functional.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; at least 4 years of relevant professional experience and technical training in repair contracting, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and facility operations.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in facility maintenance or related technical fields.
• Demonstrated experience in construction, general contracting, or facility renovation projects.
• Strong technical expertise across core trades, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or senior living environments preferred.
• Familiarity with Joint Commission standards, including survey preparation and compliance support.
• Proficiency with CMMS or web-based work order systems (e.g., TELS, Fiix, Procore, or similar platforms).
• Military or first responder experience strongly valued and aligned with the mission of the IAFF facility.
• Ability to reside within a reasonable commuting distance to ensure consistent on-site leadership and timely response.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, safety, and long-term functionality of the campus.
• Protect and maintain the facility's physical assets through proactive maintenance and planning.
• Review and respond to recommendations from regulatory, planning, and inspection agencies.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, codes, and healthcare regulations including Joint Commission standards.
• Supervise maintenance operations, repairs, and preventative maintenance programs.
• Lead fire and life safety efforts, including drills and upkeep of alarms, extinguishers, signage, and evacuation plans.
• Oversee contractor and vendor performance and communicate updates to the Operations Director.
• Support budget management, including tracking expenditures for materials and equipment.
• Participate in training, in-service education, and ongoing professional development.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
