Job summary

The Healing Place seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee facility maintenance across the campus, ensuring buildings, equipment, and infrastructure are safe and well-maintained. This role supervises maintenance staff, manages preventive maintenance programs, coordinates vendors, and supports regulatory compliance.

The position emphasizes cost-effective maintenance solutions, collaboration with leadership on capital planning, and maintaining thorough maintenance records and schedules for safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4+ years of experience in facility maintenance or related field.
• Prior supervisory experience required.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, welding trades preferred; EPA certification preferred.
• Experience managing vendors, contractors, and service agreements preferred.
• Knowledge of building systems, preventive maintenance, and safety practices.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and support maintenance staff to ensure safe, efficient work.
• Coordinate, prioritize, and monitor work orders and maintenance requests.
• Develop, implement, and oversee preventive maintenance programs.
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities and grounds for safety and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, fire, regulatory, and facility requirements.
• Manage relationships with vendors and contractors, including quotes and scheduling.
• Maintain maintenance records, schedules, and documentation.
• Identify cost-effective maintenance solutions and process improvements.
• Collaborate with leadership on facility improvements and capital planning.
