Job summary

Shearwater Systems LLC in Lee's Summit, MO seeks a Facility/Safety Manager to oversee equipment condition, safety campaigns, and facilities operations. The role requires a U.S. citizenship, a valid drivers license, and an active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities include policy development, budget participation, and coordination with management. A strong focus on safety, compliance, and team leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen required.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• OSHA 30-hour General Industry Safety and Health Certification.
• Prior experience in warehouse, security, policy, military, facilities or related field preferred.
• Ability to pass drug test and background check (credit, criminal, DMV).

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of equipment condition.
• Develop policies and procedures for use of facilities and supplies.
• Ensure equipment and facilities are functioning properly.
• Initiate interventions to solve problems.
• Oversee cleaning, repair and maintenance of contractor equipment.
• Lead safety initiatives and campaigns.
• Evaluate staff work quality and performance.
• Assist in facilities maintenance budget preparation.
• Coordinate with upper management on work issues.
