Qualifications

• Knowledge of infection control, resident rights, abuse/neglect reporting, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with housekeeping, laundry and maintenance operations per standards and directives.
• Coordinate services across housekeeping, laundry and maintenance with other departments.
• Inspect and maintain storage rooms, linen closets, and equipment to ensure operability and safety.
• Ensure supplies, disinfectants and equipment levels meet needs and safety standards.
• Assist in standardizing methods and scheduling to minimize service interruptions.
• Conduct periodic inspections of supplies and equipment and report shortages or malfunctions.
• Attend community committees and meetings; respond to resident complaints and fix issues.
• Be on call for emergencies and participate in fire drills as directed by the Maintenance Director.
