Job summary

Cuyuna Regional Medical Center is seeking a Facilities Safety Specialist to support operations, oversee safety compliance, and coordinate construction, maintenance, and vendor contracts across the hospital. The role blends structured admin tasks with hands‑on problem solving in a fast‑paced health system environment.

Ideal candidates have strong project management skills, knowledge of healthcare regulations, and experience with maintenance software, to maintain safe, reliable operations 24/7

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of facilities administration, construction project management, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Experience in healthcare facilities management and familiarity with standards (e.g., The Joint Commission) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safety programs and regulatory assessments across the organization.
• Oversee construction, maintenance, vendor contracts, and space utilization with Plant Operations.
• Track maintenance activities using specialized software and ensure timely risk mitigation.
• Communicate across departments to balance priorities and respond to urgent compliance issues.
• Provide proactive safety leadership and promote a culture of safety.
