Job summary

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of carpentry, painting, plumbing, and light mechanical systems.
• Experience supervising skilled trades or maintenance personnel.
• Strong understanding of quality control principles and facility upkeep standards.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem solving skills.
• Familiarity with maintenance work order systems and preventive maintenance planning.
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Quality oversight and standards enforcement for building maintenance.
• Staff supervision and development of the maintenance team.
• Hands-on support for complex, urgent, or overflow repair and maintenance tasks.
• Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance schedules.
• Track and review maintenance requests and work orders for timeliness, accuracy, and quality.
• Coordinate with custodial, HVAC, electrical teams and outside vendors.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and organizational policies.
