Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of general facility maintenance incl. carpentry, painting, plumbing, and light mechanical systems.
• Experience supervising or leading skilled trades or maintenance personnel.
• Strong understanding of quality control principles and facility upkeep standards.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with maintenance work order systems and preventive maintenance planning.

Responsibilities

• Quality Oversight and Standards Enforcement: monitor and evaluate maintenance work quality and safety.
• Site inspections and work order reviews to ensure repairs meet safety, durability, and aesthetic standards.
• Identify improvement areas and implement corrective actions.
• Staff Supervision and Development: assign tasks, supervise schedules, mentor staff for consistency.
• Provide hands-on support for complex repairs and overflow work as needed.
• Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for facilities and equipment.
• Coordinate with custodial, HVAC, electrical teams and vendors for joint tasks.
• Ensure compliance with codes, safety standards, and PPE usage.
