Job summary

The Scion Group in Corpus Christi, TX seeks a Facilities Technician to maintain the property's systems, respond to repair requests, and prepare units for turnovers. You will perform preventive maintenance, basic repairs, and support safety and guest services while upholding SOPs and OSHA standards.

The role requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, CPO or plan to obtain, strong communication, dependability, and flexibility for after-hours and weekend emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or plan to obtain within six months.
• Clear and effective communication.
• Safety-conscious with punctuality and dependability.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel.
• Ability to stand 8 hours or longer and lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the property's condition per SOPs, OSHA and industry standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to keep assets in good condition.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks and help prepare apartments for turnovers.
• Document work performed and parts used with clear notes upon completion.
• Coordinate with residents, service staff, contractors and management to ensure timely service.
• Be on-call for after-hours emergencies as directed by the Facility Manager or Supervisor.
• Maintain a professional appearance and safe work area; assist in setting up events and routines.
