Job summary

The University of Georgia seeks an Assistant Manager of Projects to plan, coordinate and oversee campus facility improvements, renovations, and related work. This role supports the Facilities Management Division and reports to the Shop Manager.

The position requires leadership in project scope, budget, timelines, and coordination with vendors, clients, and university stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• Experience coordinating facility projects or maintenance preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide project coordination for facilities improvements, enhancements, and renovations.
• Develop project scopes, timelines, and specifications.
• Conduct pre-construction meetings and quality-control inspections.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and schedule stakeholder meetings.
• Collaborate with the Office of University Architects and campus departments.
