Job summary

Mayo Clinic seeks a seasoned Facilities Project Manager to provide engineering and architectural oversight across major construction initiatives. You will steer procurement, manage budgets, schedules, and scope, and coordinate with internal departments and external partners to deliver projects on time and within budget.

You will influence design, ensure compliance with state codes, and mentor staff while reporting progress to Mayo Clinic senior leadership.

Qualifications

• A four-year college degree in project or construction management, engineering, architecture or related field.
• Post-academic experience managing design and construction phases for projects (minimum 3 years).
• Demonstrated estimating experience and understanding of various project delivery systems.
• Ability to administer contracts and construction documents.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to balance multiple projects.
• Professional licensure is preferred; PMP certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory motor vehicle record.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional engineering and architectural oversight, construction industry procurement, and overall real property stewardship.
• Leads project objectives within budget, schedule, and approved scope; coordinates with internal Mayo departments and external vendors.
• Manages multiple Facilities projects simultaneously from initiation to occupancy; communicates progress to senior leadership.
