Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, AZ seeks an experienced facilities project manager to oversee planning, design, construction, and occupancy for large-scale projects. You will lead project teams, manage budgets up to $100M+, and ensure alignment with user needs and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the Director of Planning and Design, mentoring staff, and delivering on cost, schedule, and quality objectives.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in project or construction management, engineering, architecture or related field
• Master’s degree and 12 years’ post-academic experience (preferred)
• Estimating experience and understanding of project delivery systems required
• Experience administering contracts and construction documents required
• LEED certification preferred; PMP certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide management oversight, direction, and mentoring to project management staff and campus facilities staff
• Achieve cost, schedule, and quality objectives of projects as assigned
• Advise Chair and staff on project progress and coordinate across design/construction phases
• Manage multiple Facilities projects simultaneously from work orders to $100M+
• Ensure user needs are addressed during design and construction and communicate progress
