The University of Central Florida is seeking a Facilities Project Manager I to support planning, design, construction, and closeout of capital projects. You will coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and campus partners to ensure timely delivery within budget and compliant with university standards.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience, plus knowledge of project management, scheduling, and contract documentation.

• Experience supporting construction, renovation, facilities, engineering, or capital projects.
• Knowledge of project management principles, construction administration, scheduling, and contract documentation.
• Ability to review project plans, specifications, and construction documents.
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in higher education/government/healthcare or large institutions preferred.
• Knowledge of delivery methods, budgeting, scheduling, and cost control.
• Experience coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and regulators.
• Experience with project management software such as eBuilder or similar.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the planning, design, construction, and closeout phases of assigned projects.
• Assist Portfolio Managers and Senior Project Managers with execution, documentation, meetings, field observations, and contracts.
• Manage project information and documentation within eBuilder, including control and training.
• Oversee contractors, architects, engineers, and consultants for compliance with standards and regulations.
• Review design and construction documents for completeness and constructability.
• Develop and monitor project schedules to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate activities with campus departments, stakeholders, and Facilities personnel.
• Develop and manage budgets, change orders, payments, and financial reports.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
• Support sustainability initiatives and construction standards on projects.
