Job Description Summary

The Facilities Project Manager will be the focal point for all Evendale site construction-related items, maintain facilities processes, and execute requests. You will provide project management for the entire Cincinnati area.

About the GE Evendale Campus

The GE Evendale campus is the headquarters for GE Aviation activities, including large parts manufacturing, engine assembly, and test operations, as well as engineering, development, and lab facilities for both commercial and military customers. The 415-acre site includes 100 acres under roof and employs over 6,000 staff, including unionized workers represented by UAW, IAM, and IGUA.

Essential Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the design, engineering, and troubleshooting of site projects across all disciplines.
  2. Assist in creating and maintaining Project Management Processes.
  3. Lead projects through schematic, design engineering, financials, bidding, construction, and closeout stages.
  4. Manage project financials and schedules.
  5. Coordinate projects with outside vendors and internal unions.
  6. Specify needs, communicate project approaches, and present research outcomes.
  7. Partner with business leadership and cross-functional teams to develop solutions to meet business needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in Project Management or Construction Management.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Project Management.

  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial setting.
  • Ability to influence others and lead small teams.
  • Strong problem identification and resolution skills.

  • Traits such as humility, transparency, focus, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
