Job summary

University of South Carolina Upstate is seeking a Project Manager in Spartanburg, SC, to oversee the design and execution of capital construction and renovation projects on campus. You will collaborate with stakeholders, the Office of State Engineer, and the planning/design teams to ensure projects meet timelines and quality standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering and at least 5 years of project management experience in design, construction, and renovation

Qualifications

• Background in architecture, design engineering, or facility construction with renovation components.
• Ability to oversee construction means, methods, and schedules with quality control observations.
• Knowledge of laws, rules, and regulations related to capital projects and renovations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design and execution of minor and major capital construction and renovation projects.
• Collaborate with USC Upstate stakeholders, Office of State Engineer, and Planning, Design and Construction offices to deliver projects on campus.
