Job summary

University of South Carolina Upstate is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the design and execution of major and minor capital construction projects on campus. You will collaborate with USC Upstate officials, the Office of State Engineer and USC Columbia’s Planning, Design and Construction teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering and has at least 5 years of project management experience, including renovation projects, with strong knowledge of

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering and 5 years of project management experience including design, construction and renovation of major projects.
• Knowledge of principles and practices of architecture, design engineering, landscape architecture and facility construction; understanding of construction means, methods and schedules; ability to provide quality control observations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design and execution of minor and major capital construction and renovation projects.
• Work closely with USC Upstate stakeholders, the Office of State Engineer and USC Columbia Department of Planning, Design and Construction to execute projects on the USC Upstate campus.
