A leading healthcare institution is seeking a Facilities Project Inspector to ensure compliance and quality control for Facilities Management projects. The role involves conducting inspections, preparing reports, and collaborating with various stakeholders to resolve issues. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management and relevant experience in project management or construction trades.
Ideal candidate: Journeyman Plumber.
Department: Environmental Health & Safety, Sustainability and Emergency Management (EHSSEM)
This department is responsible for safety training, recycling and environmental programs, waste disposal, laboratory, construction and occupational health safety, fire safety, emergency planning, and building systems management.
The primary purpose of this role is to provide quality control and inspection services for Facilities Management projects, ensuring compliance of materials and equipment with contract documents across architectural, civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems.
Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; three years of project or construction management experience, or ten years in construction trades with supervisory experience. Equivalent experience may substitute for education on a one-to-one basis.
Preferred: Journeyman Plumber License.
