Job summary

Ultium Cells LLC in Warren, OH is seeking a Project Engineer to coordinate engineering design, quality planning, manufacturing, installation and commissioning on diverse projects. You will manage budgets, schedule tasks, and align deliverables with customer requirements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires strong technical background and proven project management experience within an industrial setting, with travel to Ultium sites and suppliers as needed.

Qualifications

• Relevant manufacturing/engineering degree preferred.
• Good understanding of engineering principles.
• Mechanical, electrical, electronic or software background.
• Proven Project Engineering/Project Management experience.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering design, quality planning, manufacturing, installation and commissioning.
• Manage the project within budget and resources.
• Plan project requirements and resources, including sub-contract elements.
• React to changing client and product needs and risks.
• Produce deliverables on-time to customer requirements and cost tracking.
• Assist with design verification and sign-off processes.
• Travel to other Ultium sites and suppliers as needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and KPI management.
• Write reports and present progress at project meetings.
