Job summary

Maryland Department of Natural Resources, Engineering and Construction seeks an experienced Agency Project Engineer/Architect to lead design, estimating, management and inspection for critical maintenance projects in multiple Maryland counties. This role supports the agency’s mission to maintain facilities and grounds for public enjoyment of natural resources.

Applicants should have extensive experience in building construction, code compliance, and cost budgeting, with proficiency in design

Qualifications

• Six years of experience in design and project management for agency capital and operating construction, maintenance and system services projects.
• Two years of experience as a design and project manager Engineer, Architect, or Surveyor.
• Professional Engineer or Professional Architect registration may substitute for the required experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide construction estimating, design (including specification development), management, and inspection services for maintenance projects.
• Oversee projects across Cecil, Harford, Baltimore, Baltimore City, Howard and Carroll counties.
