Job summary

Badger Meter is seeking a Facilities Engineer II to support operating facilities, including buildings, grounds, and manufacturing equipment, in a safety-first environment. The role blends office and factory floor work and involves project management, design and optimization of facilities, and collaboration with multiple groups across the company.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 3+ years in a related role, with strong MS Office skills and knowledge of facility

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a facilities/engineering role preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Familiarity with NFPA, NEC, OSHA codes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support facilities operations by troubleshooting infrastructure and systems in manufacturing and office operations.
• Assist in capital expenditure budgets and project management for facility upgrades.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for infrastructure and equipment.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineering on plant layouts and improvements.
• Ensure facilities meet health, safety, regulatory, and legal requirements.
• Travel up to 10% as needed.
