Job summary

Badger Meter is seeking an Engineer II, Manufacturing to drive new product development and sustain existing manufacturing processes on the production floor. You will lead NPD efforts, ensure manufacturability, and mentor teams while coordinating with design, operations, and quality.

This role requires hands-on problem solving and cross‑functional collaboration. The position focuses on cost efficiency, process improvements, and robust documentation, with potential weekend support and travel up to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred and knowledge of SQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot production issues and validate solutions on the manufacturing floor.
• Lead NPD teams as manufacturing representative and ensure manufacturability.
• Identify and implement manufacturing processes with cross‑functional teams.
• Support DFMA and DFA efforts for assembly and automation initiatives.
• Develop financial analyses and capital justifications for new products.
