Job summary

Badger Meter, a global leader in water technology, seeks a Facilities Engineer II to support our sites worldwide, focusing on buildings, grounds, and manufacturing equipment. You will troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, and related systems, maintain facility drawings, and help drive our continuous improvement and sustainability goals.

The role splits time between office and manufacturing floor, collaborates with multiple teams, and requires project management skills and a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in facilities, manufacturing, industrial, electrical or mechanical engineering.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Proficient with MS Office; basic regulatory knowledge (NFPA, NEC, OSHA).
• Ability to manage projects and read facility drawings.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot facilities infrastructure (HVAC, water, electrical) and related systems in office and manufacturing areas.
• Provide engineering support and training on facilities items to site teams.
• Lead capital expenditure projects including scope, budget, and contractor management.
• Develop preventative maintenance plans for facilities and equipment.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineering on plant layouts and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
