Job summary

The City of Boulder is seeking a Facilities Project Control Analyst to oversee large, complex projects from initiation through closeout. You will coordinate scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and contract activities, while supporting project managers and planners with data-driven insights.

Ideal candidates have strong Smartsheet and Excel skills, plus a track record in facilities or construction project control, and must pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a related field such as project or construction management.
• Four (4) years of experience in project or construction management may substitute for the education requirement.
• Two (2) years of administrative, project coordination, or related experience.
• Must hold and maintain a valid drivers' license.
• Knowledge of construction or facilities terminology and processes.
• Knowledge of project management principles, practices, and methods; budgeting and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and monitors assigned Facilities projects from initiation to closeout.
• Manages scope, schedule, budget, procurement, contracting, and deliverables.
• Analyzes project information, identifies risks and delays, and recommends actions.
• Monitors timelines, dependencies, dashboards, and reporting using Smartsheet and Excel.
• Coordinates procurement, contracts, proposals, PO execution, and vendor relations.
• Supports project closeout, validation of final costs, and turnover materials.
• Prepares status reports for Facilities leadership.
