Job summary

Innovative Consulting & Management Services (ICMS) seeks an experienced Facilities Project Manager to oversee on-site operations at multiple facilities in McLean, VA. The role ensures safety, quality, and timely delivery, managing PM duties, vendors, and government contracts.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in O&M facilities management, strong leadership, and expertise across MEP, fire protection, BAS, HVAC/R and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is desired. Work experience will be evaluated over education.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of working on and support of O&M/ Facilities Management in a government setting.
• At least five (5) years of recent experience managing and supervision of building mechanical O&M for campus settings with multiple buildings.
• Strong understanding of MEP, fire protection and life safety systems and equipment, BAS, HVAC/R and Electrical.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English.
• Proficiency in managing contracts, budgets, and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Overall managing, planning, directing, and coordinating daily operations of personnel on-site.
• Develop and oversee project and vendor bidding per government requirements.
• Maintain a positive culture and create a culture of quality, safety and teamwork.
• Plan and coordinate the preventative maintenance schedule/calendar for all critical assets and equipment.
• Execute corrective, unplanned and emergency maintenance in compliance with performance metrics.
• Analyze and mitigate risks associated with daily work.
• Serve as primary point of contact with government and corporate management.
• Manage and maintain inventory levels and CMMS records.
• Manage employee work schedules, shifts, overtime, leave and other time off.
• Provide timely reporting of events and solutions; develop corrective action or recognition strategies.
• Facilitate inter-departmental communication across trades and vendors/subcontractors.
• Create assessment plans and conduct audits and inspections as specified by contract.
• Fulfill interview and hiring requirements and compliance with all CBAs and clauses.
