Job summary

People, Technology & Processes, LLC seeks a Facility Specialist at Stennis Space Center, MS. A SECRET clearance is required to oversee maintenance, upgrades, and safety programs for naval craft facilities and related grounds.

The role involves coordinating with NAVFAC and SSC, managing project documentation, and supporting long-range maintenance planning while ensuring compliance with NAVOSH and environmental requirements.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) years’ experience working as project manager or coordinator in construction or related environments.
• Six (6) years’ experience working with Navy Facilities (NAVFAC) procedures including initiating new projects as well as maintaining existing facilities and understanding related documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with MILCON processes and congressional appropriations.
• Experience planning and executing craft maintenance and modernization.
• Class D commercial driver’s license within 60 days of hire.
• Certified forklift operator within 30 days of hire.
• Experience with NAVOSH safety programs and related training scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance, improvements, and upgrades of facilities and grounds.
• Provide engineering technical support for planned and emergent maintenance of craft assigned to SBTC.
• Coordinate oversight with NAVFAC, SSC, and NSWG-4 for long-term maintenance planning.
• Track projects through NSW engineers, Comptroller, NAVFAC, and NASA/Stennis Space Center.
• Assist with safety program development and NAVOSH training scheduling.
• Prepare work specifications for repair and equipment actions.
• Conduct frequent craft inspections, surveys, and site visits.
