Jacobs in Reston, VA is seeking a Facilities Process/Mechanical Engineering Owner’s Representative to guide design and construction for complex manufacturing facilities. You’ll review designs, specs and drawings, provide feedback, and interface with client owners on a fast-paced project team to ensure design intent is achieved.

This role spans piping for water, wastewater, chemicals and gases, equipment sizing and installation, and the review of P&IDs, layouts and submittals.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from ABET Accredited University.
• At least 2 years of practical application of chemical/mechanical facilities engineering.
• At least 2 years of design project delivery processes experience.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and leadership experience.
• At least 1 year of experience working with complex semiconductor manufacturing tools, either their manufacture, installation, or use in cleanrooms.
• Proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Forward-thinking, eager to learn best practices and contribute with innovative ideas.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base.
• Passion for buildings and construction.
• 1 year field experience.
• EIT or PE license

Responsabilidades

• Review designs, specs and drawings and provide feedback.
• Interface with client owners and site personnel, driving design and construction documents through the review process.
• Edit client specifications and standards and review vendor submittals, RFIs, and construction documents.
