Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis company, is hiring a Porter (Non-driving) for the Detroit Greektown garage. The role includes night shifts (Greektown), with pay at $17 per hour and comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, vision, FSA, disability, life insurance, 401k and paid time off.

Duties cover facility maintenance, cleaning, safety checks, and general housekeeping at the garage. A Parking Attendant License may be required.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Less than High School education or one month related experience, training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks as per checklists to keep the garage clean.
• Walk the garage daily to note and fix maintenance issues and ensure safety.
• Empty trash, maintain cleanliness of entrances, exits, rails, booths and offices.
• Paint and maintain surfaces as directed to look neat and clean.
• Replace burned out bulbs and manage oil spills.
• Submit repair/maintenance requests and monitor safety items.
• Operate sweepers and outdoor equipment as required.
• Shovel/snow removal from entry/exit ramps as directed.
• Report safety hazards or policy violations promptly.
• Maintain uniform and professional appearance during shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
