Job summary

Seven Acres Jewish Care Services seeks a porter/groundskeeper to maintain the building’s appearance both inside and outside. The role requires removing trash and debris from exterior grounds, streets, stairwells, and chutes, along with performing property inspections.

You will communicate any deficiencies beyond your assigned scope. A minimum of 1 year in porter/groundskeeper and at least 2 years in customer service is expected, plus capable lifting up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a porter/groundskeeper role.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a customer service role.
• Some problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain building appearance, both internally and externally.
• Remove all trash and debris from exterior grounds, streets, stairwells, chutes and more.
• Perform property inspections and communicate any noted deficiencies outside your assigned scope.
