Job summary

Corvias Group LLC in Durham, NC is seeking a reliable Porter to perform cleaning, basic maintenance, and grounds tasks for single and multifamily homes and common areas.

You will follow health and safety standards, operate a company vehicle as needed, manage supplies, and provide friendly, professional service to residents. A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license are preferred, and you must supply your own basic tools.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write and understand English; follow oral and written instructions.
• Must provide and maintain own basic hand and power tools; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform laborer duties: cleaning, grounds keeping, painting, basic building maintenance using powered equipment.
• Ensure spaces meet health, safety, and company procedures; follow schedules.
• Collect trash/debris; transport waste to disposal areas; proper disposal of chemicals.
• Operate company vehicle when required.
• Participate in staff meetings; share observations to improve cleaning/maintenance.
• Protect, maintain, and disinfect tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Adhere to safety rules; report hazards and unusual occurrences.
• Maintain inventory and storage areas; keep carts clean and tidy.
• Interact with residents professionally and provide high-quality service.
• Other duties as assigned.
