Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Planner/Scheduler Manager to lead maintenance, housekeeping, and indirect materials management for a corporate facility. You will partner with senior facilities leaders to ensure uptime, tenant satisfaction, and proactive maintenance programs.

Responsibilities include developing staff, coordinating vendors, managing budgets, and maintaining safety/compliance across multiple sites in the Detroit metro area.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of facilities management experience in corporate environments.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Proficiency with CMMS.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
• Proven track record of delivering internal and external customer service.
• Ability to develop relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop facilities staff to meet service levels and budgets.
• Assign work to technicians, vendors, and contractors.
• Coach and performance-manage direct reports throughout the year.
• Address employee performance issues promptly.
• Pursue training resources to improve team capabilities and technical competencies.
• Oversee preventative maintenance to maximize uptime and lifecycle performance.
• Coordinate projects with operations and liaise with client facilities teams.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and service delivery standards are met.
• Manage client expectations through leadership and problem-solving.
• Prepare and analyze operating budgets and forecasts.
