Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in the Detroit area seeks a Planner/Scheduler Manager to lead maintenance, housekeeping, and indirect materials, ensuring safe operation and exceptional tenant service.

You will partner with Senior Facility Manager and client leaders, manage budgets and vendor activities, and coach staff toward continuous improvement while maintaining compliance and strong customer relations.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of facilities management experience in corporate environment, third-party service provider, or consulting.
• Strong leadership and people development skills.
• Proficiency with CMMS software.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for diverse audiences.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking.
• Proven record of delivering internal and external customer service.
• Ability to develop relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Knowledge of standard business and accounting practices.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and weekend flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop facilities staff to deliver service levels within budgets.
• Oversee preventative maintenance and daily facility inspections.
• Coordinate contractor activities and ensure policy compliance.
• Manage service delivery, vendor programs, and client satisfaction.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and monthly reporting for the client.
